This article talks about the fact that we should all recycle in america. The reasons as to why we should recycle is that it saves energy, conserves natural resources, limits pollution, and supports several sectors of the economy. These statements are backed up by many statistics from the U.S. environmental protection agency. One of the facts that support this claim is that," In 2003, the energy savings from recycling 54 billion aluminum cans exceeded the energy equivalent of 15 million barrels of crude oil – or the amount of gas the U.S. uses in one day." isn't it incredible that just recycling can save that much energy!? The article also states that you become a better patriot when recycling because then we don't need to get more of our fossil fuels from other nations.
